Selling a Home during a Pandemic.

Most clients are aiming to stay at home to ensure their family's safety, which has shown an impact in open houses and builders events. The current economic impact has also affected employment rates and their incomes most likely. So, is it a good time to sell a home?

CNN and New York Times have talked about this topic from the buyer's point of view, and they both mention an important factor to consider: there are still people who need their necessities cover and a new home is a perfect solution when they need to get closer to older members who need care or making room for new ones. There are also future homeowners who have been searching for months and are not willing to place their dreams on hold.

According to NAR, there have been 10 cities that "are expected to outperform, based on criteria that included housing affordability for new residents, consistent job growth, the age of the population and home price appreciation". In other words, buying a home will be more attractive than renting and for those who still have job security this period means an incredible opportunity to afford their future household.
